Chapter 607 - Celebrating 11/9 as well as 13/9

That is not a typo, 11/9 that is, for anyone of sane mind grades objects small-to-large or perhaps large-to-small but NEVER  middle-to-small-to-large. Anyway, yesterday, the 11th, I celebrated my 21st birthday again, only 60 years later. A very quiet day, disturbed only by some appetising nibbles left on the doorstep and a number of phone calls that may have been more entertaining had they been via Zoom.

Then tomorrow we remember the 13th of only 30 years ago, as shown in the expurgated (a word often used by organisations not wishing to divulge all of their secrets) letter below.

On this balmy early spring day she decided she needed to go outside so I helped her wheel chair through the sliding door. In an attempt to distract her from "weeding" I found the sweet pea seeds I had collected during the last few seasons for her to plant, That did not hold her attention and she was soon digging the garden soil with her fingers, removing small bits of fibrous stuff, the odd stone and pieces of daisies which must have been in the wrong places. After awhile I returned her inside, washed our hands and then had morning tea of the nibbles delivered yesterday.

I asked the financial advisor to complete the plan for funding residential aged care because I fear I will need to implement it before too long. The muscle pains in my arms continue to bother me after she needs the loo in between the 3 Wild Dog Carer visits at shower time, just after lunch and at bed time. I haphazardly take the prescribed Osteo Relief Paracetamol and use a TENS machine and these probably help and more so if I were to maintain regularity.

My irritations expressed to Wild Dog about her level 4 Package resulted in a long explanatory email and a number of attachments which shed light upon some changes in government funding and subsequent budget changes at the package level plus assurances that her package will remain at Level 4. I need some unstressed time to absorb the material. And some sleep filled nights.
