Chapter 164 - The Game Continues

Wii Fit has become a nightly ritual. Almost religious. Without her encouragement, I doubt whether I would be so consistent. After we complete the sequence of exercises that we find enjoyable (read "the ones we score reasonably well at") and are not dangerous for her, we finish with a couple of games of Ten Pin Bowling. Our average scores are about the same and one night I made "Pro" and at the moment we are slightly below that threshold. Interestingly, from a PD point of view, whenever she is a little "off" and her back is stooped then she has much difficulty bowling the ball. As well as a stooped and painful back, her right arm tends to be slightly bent, rather than straight, as she bowls and that seems to be interpreted as not swinging her arm at all, requiring an "A" button push to reset her throw. She becomes very frustrated if such happens up to half a dozen times in a row. She certainly bowls slowly but accurately. Today she has decided that she will increase her Sofril to 1 mg at 6pm as well as at 6am & noon. She thinks the Wii exercising, which we do usually about 8:30pm depending on TV programs worthy of watching, is consuming her store of dopamine so needs a boost.

Interestingly, she has commented that it's nice doing things together, rather than each working in our respective sewing rooms and our computers or just watching TV. So I must restrict my competitive outbursts because they disturb. She says she only wishes to do the exercises or play the game without bothering with scoring points. Which is exactly what Wii does, with precision. So I must remain quiet about scoring 7 strikes in a row the night I attained Pro status.

She believes that we are both sleeping more soundly due to the exercise, yet how she knows about me when she is doing so puzzles me. But she is correct, even though my hips are sore from trying to attain 300 hoola hoop spins (highest so far is 260 something).
